RESULTS - Double Elimination 5

A tall, towering wall looms in front of me. Beyond that is something that I could never to see on my own.
And that is...the view from the top.

Can I laugh that the highest vote count was for Mikasa Mikoto?

Sorry Taiga/Tomoyo/FEITOOOOOOO~~~ fans, but Shana/Giku is your championship match. Everything else is just ceremony.

Stocking's gonna need to see your f*****' hands at the concert.

Re: RESULTS - Double Elimination 5
sigh well Kyo did well even in defeat only 163 and even in the lead for a time! I was not surprised by Hinas big win
And was glad but again fully unsurprised to see both Horo and Nanoha win and for Louise to remain undefeated lol.
Shana should indeed fear the pink haired Hina
should be one very interesting match - Go Hina! lol
Hey dont shoot Fate down so quick you never know what she could do. Though I think her the only one in the losers bracket with a true chance of really winning besides maybe and much less of a chance TOmo. (Glad to still have Fate and Hina and Kagami to support heh)
And now on to get Rin a win for placement !

Re: RESULTS - Double Elimination 5
Oh well, as I expected, Shana was too strong, but at least not an overwhelming match. Yay, Hinagiku and Horo won!
Now Kyou probably faces Tomoyo in loser bracket 4. Be interesting to see what happens there!

Re: RESULTS - Double Elimination 5
Remember, there is still a chance someone from the losing side will beat the loser of the Shana/Hina fight and then take on the winner of the Shana/Hina fight...though they'll have to beat that character twice. Remember Yuki lost to Kagami once, then beat Kagami to take on Fate at the end...after Kagami lost once to Fate already.
Yuki still lost to Fate, but it does mean that someone on the losing side can come back to face the winning side.

Indeed a come back is still possible , I wouldn't rule it out with Fate Tomo and Kagami etc on the losers side.
I do look forward to Shana vs Hina , and will be looking for a Hina upset

Re: RESULTS - Double Elimination 5
Loser's side has a decent shot at making it back to the finals, I'de say winning the Tiara is out of the question though.
Personally, I say Tomoyo vs. Hinagiku for the finals.

Re: RESULTS - Double Elimination 5
It's possible, but I don't see it happening. And not just because they've lost once, but Shana and Giku are my 1a and 1b seeds right now. Besides, Yuki's not as powerful as she's been in the past (thanks to the Arc Which Shall Not Be Named), Fate's still alive only because she's had a pretty easy draw, Taiga's got too many bullets to dodge (but I hope she does dodge them), I'm still not sold on Kyou (wins over a weak doll and a weakened doll), and Kagami's wins came over a #16 seed and a victim of the Arc Which Shall Not Be Named.ithekro wrote:Remember, there is still a chance someone from the losing side will beat the loser of the Shana/Hina fight and then take on the winner of the Shana/Hina fight...though they'll have to beat that character twice. That leaves Tomoyo. She's the only girl who's got a real shot to do it in my eyes. BUT, I don't see her going through either Giku/Shana/Shana or Shana/Giku/Giku. I hope I'm wrong though.

Re: RESULTS - Double Elimination 5
The fact that Hinagiku didn't kill Yuki worse than she did may be a bad sign for Hinagiku. Haruhi just got upset by Kagami and Mikuru got 60-40'd by Tomoyo. There's a fair chance Yuki took a fair sized hit as well yet Hinagiku didn't really shown any signs of an overperformance. If Yuki does poorly in her next match, Hinagiku might have taken a hit as well and it was disguised by Yuki also falling in strength.
A miracle that you believe in when you know it won't happen......... is hope.

Re: RESULTS - Double Elimination 5
Hmm I dont know about that , anything is possible I accept that .. but , I dont think she is really that weak, it was a strong win, and rather have her over perform against Shana then Yuki lol

Re: RESULTS - Double Elimination 5
From what I've seen, Haruhi and Mikuru took the hit, not Yuki. Yuki's large win over Haruhi shows she has quite a bit more strength than Haruhi. And let's be realistic here, Kagami's roughly as strong as Kyou and Tomoyo, so while Kagami may have defeated Haruhi, she would be much less likely to defeat Yuki...And Hinagiku defeated Yuki pretty badly.

Re: RESULTS - Double Elimination 5
Kagami is about as strong as Kyou, but both are below Tomoyo. Not all the Haruhi characters necessarily fell at the same time. Haruhi took a hit in strength first and got killed by Yuki. Mikuru's match against Suiseseki was after this and Mikuru looked fine unless you think Suiseseki's would have trouble placing in the Relegation tournament. Mikuru then went on to get killed by Tomoyo. There's plenty of time between Yuki vs Haruhi and Yuki vs Hinagiku for Yuki to have fallen. Also this is only a possibility based on Haruhi and Mikuru falling. It's not like I'm saying Yuki had to fall just because those two fell.Demi. wrote:From what I've seen, Haruhi and Mikuru took the hit, not Yuki. Re: RESULTS - Double Elimination 5
Well, why did they fall in that case? Voters did not increase or decrease, so the change in demographics could not have been much. E8 already took It's tole, It's not going to affect them anymore then it did in the first round of DE. I could see Haruhi losing to Kagami, because without the RM faction making the results look screwy, Kagami could have very well been stronger than Haruhi. Tomoyo's massive win over Mikuru doesn't make a bit of sense to me, since she couldn't even come close to pulling that off vs. Nanoha, but...unless there is a anti-faction, there should be nothing to make them all fall at the same time.

Re: RESULTS - Double Elimination 5
I have no idea why they fell. Haruhi and Yuki looked normal in the first round. A few days later, Yuki defeats Haruhi pretty badly and Haruhi goes down hill from there. Mikuru underperformed a bit against Suigintou, killed Suiseseki then got killed by Tomoyo. If Haruhi and Mikuku both fell, it seems a bit odd that Yuki isn't even fazed. While Kagami did look bad in the later parts of the Round-Robin part of the tournament, it's not like she was as strong as Haruhi before they got involved. Haruhi would need to have also fallen for Kagami to win.Demi. wrote:Well, why did they fall in that case? Voters did not increase or decrease, so the change in demographics could not have been much.
