second place with 1613 votes? if there wouldn't have been this score i would believe the same. Or third place got mostly nothing and the vote count in general was pretty high this time.

I highly doubt it's the vote differential between 1st and 2nd OR 2nd and 3rd, so... the vote differential between 1st and 3rd? (If so, we have a lot of really close matches due to abstains...)
