Bringing this thread back because the college application process sucks, and my mind is about to implode
Plus, early action essays are due on November 1st

Graduated in 2011, did the whole uni thing for a year and a half before dropping out.

Thinking of going back, but into a trades university.

My advice to you all. KNOW WHAT YOU WANT TO DO. If what you want to do doesn't end up working, take a semester off to figure out, or you will start to hate university.

Oh god, I remember my first weeks at uni. They were hell, I hated it.
What really helped me out was joining a club that did something I liked. It's easy to make friends there and you have something to fall back on if you're feeling bad.
Also, you don't have to be that nervous/shy; almost everyone has a hard time adapting to student's life!

Oh, sorry, I didn't see this until now since I don't stop by all that often!

I was an English literature major with an emphasis in creative writing, plus a minor in East Asian Studies. Had a humbling but awesome time in both departments.
