Match Day 1 of the 2017 International Saimoe League Amethyst Period is history as the race to the Tiara and Scepter continues. In the Female Division, Rem crushed Erina Nakiri 1347-595, Kuroyukihime flew past Shinobu Oshino 1006-775, Chino Kafuu defeated Yuu8ki Konno 1058-821, Megumin routed Eli Ayase 1284-606, Shino Asada stormed past Sora Kasugano 1100-781, Chiyo Sakura won the closest race of the round, an 891-879 barnburner over Konjiki no Yami 891-879 and Mashiro Shiina continued her consistent form with a 1286-599 belting of Hestia.

Ram rammed Yui-nyan 1134-821, Nanami Aoyama defeated Kaori Miyazono 1017-818, Asuna Yuuki slashed past Kirino Kousaka 1327-581, Mitsuha Miyamizu trounced C.C. 1080-780, Yui Yuigahama hammered Miyuki Shiba 964-843, Emilia throttled Darkness 1325-607, Kosaki Onodera defeated Tsukiko Tsutsukakushi 984-752 and Utaha Kasumigaoka dismantled Holo 1067-725.

Over in the Male Division, Hachiman Hikigaya picked up where he left off in a 1157-516 stomping of Tetsuya Kuroko, Levi dominated Light Yagami 989-598, Sorata Kanda defeated Makoto Naegi 915-612, Korosensei routed Kojou Akatsuki 1165-458, Gilgamesjh impaled Monkey D. Luffy 977-635, Karma Akabane destroyed Umetarou Nozaki 974-593 and Saitama punched Arata Kaizaki 1153-514.
