ISML 2011 Nomination Period

so...I already nominated, but after watching the preview video, no one told me that HENTAI was eligible! Had I known I would have nominated Reo from Sono Hanabira.

It's not section 2 #4 of the ISML character states that "The character must appear in a product that is published and distributed in Japanese media and is not rated 18+ or classified as pornographic."

So the promotional video was a trap <_<

They actually aren't allowed. Well they might be allowed in exhibition matches but not for the main tournament.

Remember that last year's PV was created after nominations, where the characters entering prelims were already listed. Many series appearing in the PV had no representation in the prelims of 2010, Shugo Chara! and Ichigo Mashimaro for example. In last year's DE PV Houjou Satoko also made an appearance for some reason. So in short, there is no rule saying the PV only contains eligible characters, or that the PV provides a guideline on which characters are eligible.

Now we shall end this discussion and talk about something more relevant to future events, like how nominations are ending in a few hours ended 4 minutes ago and how many nominations did Rose get.

Rose should be getting a decent amount. I am basing this off of hope that the Kugimiya Rie faction is backing her up. What I am most surprised is now many people are favoring the newcomers. Still, I cannot base it off just on the forum itself. So, my guess for the top ten look something like this (I feel as if this will be highly wrong):

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the Winter season would dominate the nominations and do relatively well in the prelims, but once the season itself ends... I'm afraid there will be pain.

hmm if I divide those rows by 12, that is already 5199 nominations. If you consider not everyone nominates 12 characters, that figure could increase even further. One row could also contain more nominations using additional columns... In additon, that sheet is also "one of our sheets", so I wonder how many people nominated this year.

ISML is getting more attention while Saimoe is hitting all time low in terms of vote counts.
