And regarding Okaeri, general concensus out there says Asread is traumatized after what happened to Okawari, and made the third season resemble the first as much as possible. Not that there's anything wrong with following a winning formula, of course, but just that it'll be practically impossible for Okaeri to surpass season one.
Either way, at least I can breathe a sigh of relief for Okaeri. Watching Okawari felt worst than watching a black screen for 24 minutes (no offense).
I kinda agree on how Asread want to make the third season resemble the first season as much as possible, but I felt that they still left a bit of details that was unique to season two, trying to mix them together, hence my previous message on how season three is interesting [but different then season one]
I personally would say that animation for season three is still more prone to ecchi then season one [where season two animation is really close to ecchi, and where the fail jokes were more ecchi, in the few ep that I care to remember]
Okawari was FAIL, but the presence of Mako-chan in that season kept me going (heck, I liked season two Mako-chan more then 'her' in season one and season three)
