The story takes place in a town following a decently sized earthquake. Following the aftermath of clearing wreckage and repairing damaged buildings, scouts from the army reported the discovery of a cave entrance in the mountains. The majority of the army currently have the hands full dealing with the aftermath and so the Popa (king and religious leader of the empire) greenlights a plan to draft adventurers to explore the newly discovered cavern.
Staff Sargent Hemsky was ordered to lead the group and Gamit, a dwarf who lives under an assumed identity, seized on the chance to work favors with the army and officials in hopes to be granted legitimate papers.

At this time, I would prefer to keep evil aligned characters to a minimum or none at all. You will have the chance to create evil and mischievous characters in the (hopefully) near future
For expertise, you do not need to list the obvious unless you are particularly good at it. It can be assumed that a Big Game Hunter is knowledgeable in tracking and/or trapping. A thief is good at stealing, but his preferred methods may be based on his skill set (disguising for example)
I will be deciding on your starting equipment, but feel free to indicate your preference if it is not obvious from your class.
Other than that, I want to leave this pretty open to you guys, though I may pm you to refine or scale some details)
