Delayed results for next week

Sunday, August 4th, 2013

Results for Topaz 1, 2, and 3 will be up to 3 hours late because of staff availability. A notice will be placed on the front page, and results may take up to 0600 GMT to appear after the round is over. If we are able to finish them earlier, then they will appear as soon as we are done.

Sorry for the delays, but thank you for voting. Voting rounds will stay on schedule. Let’s make this last Period a great one!

Voting graphs available

Saturday, March 12th, 2011

Beginning with today’s results, graphs are now available depicting each character’s accumulated votes over time. Click on the graph icon below the globe icon on the results page to view the data. Thanks to KholdStare for calculating and providing these images.

Graphs for the previous days will not be generated.

Congratulations to our winners today. Next week will be the final 4th Round in Phase I. Many group winners will be decided in the next match, so please look forward to Days 7 and 8. When Day 8 results are announced, we will have the brackets ready for Phase II.

Results – Aquamarine 1

Tuesday, March 23rd, 2010

And the first Round ends with great success — record-breaking vote totals! We’re happy for the great turnout.

First to appear are the text tables similar to those used in 2009, but I’ve just now finished the more graphical ones that were used during the Preliminary Period. All should be available after the next Round. The tables are useful for copying into spreadsheet software if you wanted to follow along ISML statistics in your own way.

All tables will find their home on the proper Statistics page perhaps later this week. The space opera maps seen in 2009 will be making an appearance soon, too.

First winners

Thursday, February 11th, 2010

Congratulations to Mio, Nagi, Mafuyu, Kurimu, and Saber on their advancing to the Regular Season!

The Contestants page has been updated. The Phase I graph section of the preliminaries page has been updated, too, with a menu to view one group at a time (saving bandwidth as well as the length of the page).

Tomorrow is the last day of Phase I, where we will advance 9 more Candidates to the Regular Season.

The Seeding Tournament will start on Sunday. Rules will be properly added to the FAQ and Charter, soon, but I’ll give you an early heads-up of the process: the 14 Phase I winners plus the 16 auto-entrants will be organized into various groups. You will then vote for two (2) characters out of each group. Contestants gain points based on the results and then are shuffled again for the second (and last) day of the tournament. The important thing is that you vote for two girls instead of one; we’ll post another reminder as the event gets closer.

Round results, donation, voting notice

Thursday, February 4th, 2010

Day 2 results are now out. Points and graphs are updated. You can still view Day 1 results on the preliminaries page.

Today we received a second donation from zmjhgvn. Thanks so much for your continued generosity! Our annual fees are roughly $350 per year, so we’re making great progress.

We’re very glad that so many people are participating in our tournament, but we must remind everyone about the rules — most importantly: no cheating.

Specifically, you are allowed only one vote. But we have noticed cases like the above where the rules are clearly not being followed. Multivoting is very obvious and will never be tolerated. Voters will be banned for such abuse. It really doesn’t help your Candidate either.

Nomination totals released

Saturday, January 16th, 2010

We’re now releasing the nomination totals for characters who received 18 or more nominations.

Over 350 characters received fewer than 18 nominations. There may be a margin of error of 1 or 2 for the characters with 18 or 19 nominations, as that’s where we stopped triple-checking values. The top 118 we can definitely confirm.

New Candidates Announced

Sunday, January 10th, 2010

The list of characters who advance from the Nomination Period are now posted on the front page. In addition, version 1 of our Contestants page is online at and is also accessible from the menu bar up top. The voting arena has been removed temporarily while we prepare for the Preliminary Period.

The Contestants page lists our 16 Contestants already in the Regular Season and our 126 Candidates who will participate in the preliminary rounds. Character profiles will be available soon.

Nomination totals will be released at a later date. Groupings for Phase I of the Preliminary Period will be released at a later date as well. Round 1 begins on 31 January.

Congratulations to the winners!
